The
PERMASTORE® tank system is universally accepted for use with potable water and has NSF/ANSI 61 approval as well as being approved to Regulation 31 by the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI).
 Its
hard, inert, hygienic surfaces make it simple to clean and
disinfect storage and water treatment process vessels. Applications
include: potable water storage, flocculation tanks, clarifiers,
filter tanks, sludge storage tanks, and contact tanks.
In
the increasingly important area of water treatment in parts
of the world where water resources are scarce, the corrosion
resistant properties of the Glass-Fused-to-Steel finish also
allows these tanks to be used for storage of the brackish
water associated with desalination plants, even at high ambient
temperatures.
